Jenn Tries...

Well... here it is, Monday again! And I've actually had a slightly productive week. I finally found the inspiration to get my fabric file post up. (Now I just have figure out how to write the post for my ribbon holder). And I'm finally seeing results in my plastic bag basket weaved trashcan. So hopefully I can finish it up this week and have a post about it next. And I've picked back up Lyon's artwork. So I should have a post about the Lion letter L hopefully this week or next And well I'm still slowly working on the crib bumper... it'll hopefully get done by August... I think March might just be my month to finally get things rolling around here

I'm going to keep this short and sweet again this week. Mainly because I'm tired of making excuses and partially because I think I've finally completely figured out how I want the series of posts for my desk organization to be made and I'd like to get a jump start on that before I just freeze up again on Wednesday night. So fingers crossed I might actually post something interesting this week. As for my projects... well I've taken a break from the crib bumper because I'm having a grand ole time making this plastic bag box. And all I seem to want to do is work on it. So hopefully by the time I get through all the little projects I've done for my office, hopefully it'll be done and I can write about it for a grand finale!

Well Monday seems to be the only day I can actually get anything posted. So here's a short and sweet version of my Monday Free Write I've started on a couple of posts for all the various organization projects I've used for my desk. So hopefully I'll be able to finish writing them up this week and have them posted soon. And you know I've just been working on the crib bumper and office trashcan. And will continue to do so this week.

It may not look like it but I really am trying. I just tend to over think things a lot and I want this to be perfect. So even though I don't post ever week like I have planned, I am often thinking about how I want posts to appear. I just wish it showed more, but I think the more comfortable I get with posting and finding my voice in this process, I think it will. With that being said I think I've finally figured out how I want to post all of my desk organization projects. And I'll get started on that as soon as I'm done posting this! Unfortunately I'm still working on getting it completely organized, but it's at least started. As for the rest of my projects, I'm still working hard on them. Still nowhere near the end of my crib bumper project... but I'll get there I just have to keep sewing.. just keep sewing!

There is nothing more frustrating then having a perfect plan on how I want to organize half of my desk... and then being stuck waiting for my tax return to get here so I can have some money to get it done. And really when I went to write the post I felt like a fraud because my desk is still a mess. So needless to say I will have the written out fully once I get everything I need. So in the meantime I've been working on this damn crib bumper. I'm happy to report that is is officially half way done! (This is why this year I need to learn to use my sewing machine!). I just need to remember to keep sewing and sewing even when I don't feel like it and it'll be over before I know it! And I've decided to utilize the free time I have in during work and I've begun making a trashcan for my desk out of plastic bags. If it works out I think it'll be a nice touch and perhaps a great use of the otherwise useless plastic bags I have laying around here. And I'm in
